Can I used the wi-fi and get online out of the box or do I have to activate it with Verizon first? T

Answer : There is a workaround on the internet to get the phone to use only wifi. Think you look up 'skip activation for lg phone'. I use it like that for my perk tv app & it works great.

Answer : You must activate and add your minutes to your phone before being able to use any of its services,ever...tuck that one away for future reference.

Answer : You have to put a minimum of 5.00 prepaid, plus around 1.50 tax to get to your Android Icons or Apps, and that last 30 days..But they will try to get you to spend 45.00 a month plus tax..Otherwise flash the phone or unlock it

does it have a camera?

Answer : Yes, it has a rear facing camera without a flash.

Answer : I have this phone and it has a great camera AND it DOES have a flash, plus multi-shot, action shot, panorama shot and editing :)

Answer : Yes it does but no flash so mainly outside or a very well lit room

Who is the carrier of this cellphone?

Answer : The one I have is Verizon prepaid

Answer : The carrier of this smartphone is Verizon.

Answer : Verizon

Works in Rural areas

Very satisfied with the phone. It works in an area AT&T never did. Definitely worth it and cheap.

Fast ,Easy & Affordable

I purchased 2 for early Xmas gifts. The phones are a perfect size, has a great plan,\n, and they were easy to set up. They have options that the more expensive phones have, gps, wifi, bluetooth, but at a awesome price. They sold out online, but ordered by locating them in a store near my family, that store had the phones in site to store ,ready for pickup the next day.

great phone no major problems

It does exactly what it is suppose to do it was kinda hard to handle at first till I bought a case for it. the phone is a little slow but that is because of the processor nothing you cant live with.Battery life is good how a phone works has a lot to do with your carrier. overall the phone is worth the money.

I like it

Graphics little under but for the money a great phone that meets my needs...very economical

Good smart phone for a better price than most.

The LG Optimus Zone 2 is a prepaid smart phone that uses the 3G network through Verizon. I like it because for the same $50 plan I was paying for a basic phone, I now am paying the same with a smart phone and the plan includes data. I am not a big data user, but that was a bonus for me and that is why I switched from a basic phone to a smart phone. Although this is a 3G phone and someday the 3G network will be obsolete, I did not want to spend more for a 4G smart phone since I don't do a lot with data anyway. This a perfect fit for someone who is on a tight budget and is a middle of the road phone, tech and data user.

Nice phone for the money

I ordered this phone through walmart.com, excellent price for what you get. I am one of the last hold out's to get a smart phone. I did not like the idea of paying an arm and a leg just to own one, so I waited. Yes, it has a small screen (I have no need to carry a laptop around), but I think it's just right. I suggest that if you plan to use the navigator app alot as I do as part of my volunteer work; get a car adaptor (have not purchased yet), because the battery drains very quickly. Even if I don't use this app and just make a phone call or a few text messages, the battery will be down to 50% or less in no time. I thought my Samsung was bad! All in all, I still like this phone for the price.

Best little smart phone on the market

Great little smart phone for the price! Would buy it all over again.

I like it

The only thing I didn't like about it is the fact that it has no case. Other than that, though. It's fast and easy to use. The pictures are okay. You have to use 3G or Wifi to send or receive pictures. You also need the $45 a month card or more for unlimited talk, text, and how much data you want. Overall, a good quality first smart phone. Love andriods! The apps are pretty helpful, also. It also could use a weather app and a Facebook app at least. Oh well.

Great Phone...better than my last phone!

I love my phone: the only issue I have is the limited memory. Other than that, it is so much better than my previous phone.

much simpler than some of the more advanced smart

I like the simplicity of this phone. After all, I have my COMPUTER for all that other stuff lol.

Doesn't meet my needs

I thought you could put the amount of minutes you desired from month to month and the phone actually requires that you put $45 unlimited every month. There is no option.\n\nI am returning this phone

Decent phone but the camera is bad

3 MP - fixed focus camera poor pictures. My older ZTE990 was a prepaid which had autofocus and 5mp. I know it's a cheaper phone but Verizon would cost me $15 more a month... not sure I'm going to use this phone or just stick with my ZTE and not sure if it is returnable. The GPS does seem a lot more responsive though and android is much snappier with the faster processor and kitkat 4.4

Good phone but...

This phone is a great value, with only 1 problem. I had 400 plus contacts on my other Verizon phone, most of which were out of state family and friends and the minute I activated this phone all of my contacts disappeared from my online Verizon Wireless account. And this phone does NOT have backup assistant plus, even though it says "backup assistant plus in the wizard setup. I've called Verizon for 3 days and there's no way I can get them back. They told me when you switch from a basic phone (I previously had) to this smartphone you lose all contacts. And since I did a factory reset on my old basic phone to see if I could fix it before buying this one I can't get them back in it either because it's been deactivated. Backup your contacts on something besides this phone if you want to keep them.

Verizon LG Optimus Zone 2 Prepaid Smartphone

I procrastinated to buy this phone and go with Verizon. I finally did make a decision\nto leave sprint, so I bought this phone and wow a good choice. The phone is just as good as the Galaxy or Apple that cost $600 to $800 and even has better sound Quality and does everything that those expensive ones do. Great phone and service.

great camera for beginner.....

The problem I have with this is that the plan that goes with this plan is Verizon. The data is not unlimited and it caused me problems. But it would be great for a beginner.

Descent

I purchased this phone a few months ago to upgrade from a pay as you go flip phone. The phone which has the latest Android operating system does more than I expected and as I learn the phone, it surprises me. It does not have the best of anything, speaker, camera or screen but they are adequate and it is affordable if you are not trying to be a conspicuous consumer and buy a phone that has the price of a small mortgage or monthly car payment. I got the necessary accessories. The LG bluetooth that came with it is very good as I expected something shoddy. I bought a rubber case to hold the phone off ebay for a couple bucks as the phone being small sometimes slips out of my hand. I also purchased a nice belt pouch from Walmart on line that holds the phone even with the rubber case.\n\nTHE BATTERY LIFE CAN BE EXTENDED TO DAYS IF THE DATA AND BLUETOOTH FUNCTIONS ARE TURNED OFF AND USED ONLY WHEN NEEDED.\n\nI expanded the storage with an 8gb sd card for music, books and pics.\n\nI don't have to worry about dropping it and feeling like I wasted a couple hundred bucks on a phone.... It is not a status symbol but a tool for communication. It works.

love this phone has so much to offer

love this phone I was a little worry about getting it but after getting it its amazing thanks

not happy

Great phone. works on Verizon network
