IS THE COLOR CLOSER TO DARK BROWN OR BLACK?

Answer : That is a tough one. It really depends on the light in the room. It could easily be mistaken for black where I have it but that is a darker corner. In a very bright bathroom, for ex. it would probably show as dark brown.

Answer : Definitely a dark brown. Nothing black.

Answer : Closer to brown.

Answer : It is dark brown!

Answer : the color is dark brown and the hardware is silver (nickel).

Answer : The color is closer to dark brown. Has an espresso color or a rich chocolate color.

Answer : Dark brown

Answer : Ours is definitely closer to brown than black. If you have black furniture in the room, there will be a noticeable difference. We have a darker brown (what I would truly call espresso) vanity (glacier bay, from home depot) next to it, and you really have to look for the difference...it doesn't make its difference really known. If you are meticulous about the color being right, it's more of a medium to dark brown with dark espresso streaks in it. Hope this helps.

Answer : I would say dark brown. I can still see the wood grain. See photo

Answer : Dark Brown ... not black but very dark cherry.

Will towels fit in this tower?

Answer : Yes? I post a picture of the cabinet open and filled with common items - you be the judge.

Answer : Yes. I think you wouldgetmore in if you added a couple of extra shelves on the inside closed portions. The holes are already on the inside. You would just have to get the shelves and extra pins.

Answer : I think you could get plenty towels in, depending on the size. On the "suggested" shelf heights you can get 1 or 2 on each of the compartments behind the doors. You could probably get 5 - 8 in the top and the same number in the bottom by not using the adjustable shelves.

Answer : Yes, you have to tri-fold the towels. But I get 3 towels to each shelf with a little room to spare.

Answer : Yes, I have it in my kitchen and it hold alot of different products. Soda bottles, snacks, breads etc.

Answer : Yes they will.

Answer : Standard bath towels could fit if you folded them to a small size, but it wouldn't take long at all to fill the entire tower...and you wouldn't have loads of towels in there! It's ideal for bottles and knickknacks. It could look nice if you rolled up HAND towels and put them on the open shelf. That would work well, but really, I wouldn't advise getting this for BATH towel storage. If you have makeup bags and qtip boxes and lotions and potions though...it's WONDERFULLY efficient and space saving! It's a great organizer for us!

Answer : yes, I took 4 large towels, rolled them, put them in one of the exposed cubbyholes. Then I used about 10 small towels for the other cubbyhole and some decor items for color. I used stuff I wanted to hide behind the closed doors, like toilet paper etc. It holds a 12 pack of t-paper comfortably by adjusting the shelf. So I guess it's how you roll um or fold um.

Answer : yes they do

Can you attach the doors so they can open from the right instead of the left?

Answer : Sorry but no. However if you are handy with a drill the hinge is a stud on the top and bottom of the door. If you drill a hole in the other side you could conceivably modify it. If you do that, be aware that the louvers will point up instead of down. (Taken from dictation by spouse. Have no idea what he is talking about)

Answer : No, they're attaching on the right side only

Answer : no

Answer : Not unless you drilled your own sets of holes. Unmodified, it is hinged on the right.

Answer : I don't think so. From the beginning of the instructions, it is from left to right. The instructions are crazy tho on it's own, if you try to change it by drilling your own holes, may God help you:)

Answer : yes

Answer : No. Sorry.

Perfect

I bought this cabinet to fit in the smallest area in my bathroom to provide more storage as well as fill the area. Though it was a slight tight fit, it works wonerfully. It is not solid wood of course but it is a very nice piece for the price and looks more expensive than it is.

it looks nice and easy to install

it met my expectations

exactly what I was looking for..

the product went together easily, fit exactly next my washer/dryer.. perfect for storage of my detergents.. cabinet does smell a little funky, which I had read in other reviews. It is not extremely obnoxious, but is a noticeable smell when you walk into the room. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. Beside the fact of the in store pick-up (in Plaistow,NH).. & there not being an employee anywhere in site of the pick-up desk, & then taking his sweet time bringing my box out... but that's walmart for ya!

Loved this cabinet, good quality and was able to put together quickly!

Beautiful cabinet

I have been looking for a narrow storage cabinet for my kitchen and this fit the dimensions quite well. I was super happy with the color, it is almost an exact match to the other cabinets. I was planning on taking out the shutter portion and replacing it, but when I got the item and looked at the doors I was pleased that not only were they completely finished off but the inside was a very close match to the front of the other cabinets. I simply flipped the doors over and drilled a small hole on each to attach the door magnet. Beautiful and solid - if I needed another one I would have got two. I think the price is great considering a similar cabinet that I was looking at where I got the original cabinets was three times the price.

Great furniture!

I was looking for a tower to put in my bathroom, and I found this at Walmart. It looks great in the bathroom, and it provides storage for t.p., and other bathroom essentials. I highly recommend it if you're looking for inexpensive, bathroom furniture!

works great in a tight space!

This unit really does the trick in our tiny bathroom. Until I stumbled on this we couldn't find anything narrow enough to fit in the space between our vanity and our wall...and we looked EVERYWHERE! I'm pleased with the purchase. The tower looks very nice in the bathroom and takes up little space!

Perfect size cabinet.

Linen tower

This tower is perfect for my bathroom. Narrow but its perfect for storing my hair products oppose to just my linen. I am enjoying it. Plus it's very easy to build.

Good product for small space

I wanted extra storage in my bathroom but have limited space. This cabinet was perfect to fit behind the door. I can still open my door all the way. I was missing some of the wood colored screw covers and contacted maker and was sent some very quickly. I was a little scared when I unpacked to tackle assembly but it was fairly easy with detailed instructions. Electric screwdriver came in handy and if you take your time it goes together just like instructions advise.

IT FIT!!!!

This product might not seem to hold much as a linen cabinet. But it was one big answer for me.\nWe have an odd old 1864 house with all kinds of doors from additions and radiators. There is barely enough room for me to climb out of our king bed and squeeze through the narrow passage to the bottom and I could find NOTHING to fit betweeen the bed and the wall. I have tried so many things in the past two years. This was perfect. The two open shelves are exactly at the bed level so I have my laptop in one and a couple books in the other. The top cabinet has extra blankets (singles: a king would not fit) and MP3 chords etc on one of the shelves behind the door. It looks like it was built into that spot. Well made. I am very happy.

a great product..looks great

Easy to follow set up directions. Great result. Dimensions as advertised.

Perfect!!

I was unsure when I received the box and it was so heavy. I put it together by myself (following the directions but with a few changes) and did so in about an hour. Clear instructions. Beautiful when completed. Does not look like I put together. Does not look cheap. Using in bathroom and it has quite a bit of storage. Shelves are ajustable, so able to put tall hairspray cans where I want. If you are looking for something that does not cost a lot, but looks like it does ... this is for you!

Useful, Attractive, Touchy Assembly

The cabinet is exactly what I needed for a spot in my small kitchen. Plenty storage. Sturdy, steady but assembly is a hoot. Door hinges only on right side and opens on left.\n\nThe instructions are all pictures for a few well-placed words to assist assembly. While fairly clear, the instructions may not be perfectly clear in identifying the different screws. But they are easy to figure out from the number used and where they go. Most pictures help make it clear too.\n\nI had two problems with assembly. BE SURE TO CHECK HOW THE NAILS LOOK BEFORE THAT LAST WHACK! The back panels get nailed against the back frame. The side boards are somewhat thin, so there's a narrow window to drive in the nails. There are no pre-drilled holes on the backboard to know where to put nails in. Assembly instructions suggest where nails should go.\n\nThen again, that could've been my doing because (happily) I nailed the back panels on backwards so the "wood" was on the outside and the lighter side was on the inside. I preferred this because it brightened the look of the cabinet and was a nice contrast to the dark "wood" on the other side. The lighter side is nice enough for it to look good without looking backwards. Something to consider!\n\nIF YOU PUT BACK PANEL NAILS AT THE WRONG ANGLE, THE NAIL COULD STICK OUT THE SIDE AND YOU'LL HAVE NAIL BULGES on the side panels where the nail is pushing outward.\n\nMy other dilemma was a lack of hole to put the stiff bottom hinge piece for the bottom door. In a panic my mom saved me when she instructed me to use a sheet of paper to create a "mirror" template. I put a piece of paper flush against the corner where the top hinge went, folded it over the top of the shelf and put a hole with a screw driver that fit the exact size of the hole. Taking the paper, I just dropped it to the corner below where the bottom hinge piece goes. Since the upper hole is directly beneath the lower one, I drilled a hole exactly where the other hole was on the paper. Saved the day- thanks Mom!!!\n\nOtherwise it looks fine, doors now work fine and it does what it needs to do.

nice

difficult to put together and the instructions were very confusing. my husband said he put the doors on backwards, per the instructions. The pictures didnt match the instructions.\nBut once the cabinet was assembled and i got it in my bathroom, i loved it. it serves as extra storage in my bathroom for towels and other misc products. if you get creative it will hold 6-8 (depending on size) rolled bath towels.

Great Product

This cabinet is worth it. It is very easy to put together and looks great when you are done. The handles look slightly cheap, but the rest looks very nice. I would definately recommend this product.

Nice tower.

I bought this to put in my apartment bathroom because there is no place to put anything. And I love it. It is perfect. The little cubbies are a bit smaller then what I was thinking, but a canvas bin that I use fits perfectly. Easy to put together.

Great for the $

This was easy to put together (took less than 30 minutes) and is decently made. I read a lot of reviews on the white version of this, and everyone complained about the residual odor from the plastic, no one mentioned it on this espresso cabinet. Well, inside the cabinets, there is a slight odor. The towels don't absorb the smell, and I'm sure it will dissipate over time. Overall, I'm happy with this, fits perfect in the small space!

Great Storage Solution!

I bought this product online and had it shipped to the store (to save $$). The cabinet arrived at the store in just a few days and we went to pick it up at the site to store area. Got it home and assembled it in about an hour and a half. The instructions with all the parts looked daunting, but everything was clearly labled and simple to put together. The tower is about 6 feet tall and wonderful for storage. It doesn't look cheap either. It does have the cardboard backing that you nail on-as most self-assemble furniture does. I think it'd be a little more convenient for bathroom storage if it had a drawer, but there's a ton of space in this unit! Happy to have it and would buy it again!!

Excellent

The product was like the picture shown. It is small enought to fit well in the bathroom or any room where space is of a premium. It is easy to put together and even has a was to connect it to the wall for added stability which is not required. It is very sturdy and easy to put together. Purchasing the item from online and having it sent to the store was very easy and workable. The employees I dealt with custormer oriented and aimed to make the experience pleasant and smooth.
