How long after applied can you bathe your pet?

Answer : I would suggest bathing puppy first and then apply pet armor.

Answer : Our vet explained to us that you should not apply these types of products right after bathing and you should wait at least 3-4 days to bathe the pet after application. He explained that the oils in the skin help to distribute the product and keep it on the skin. Bathing too soon will destroy the effectiveness of the product. This may be why many complain that the product was not effective, when it was actually washed off of their pet before it could actually work.

Answer : It says yes on the directions but you have 2 wait at least 24 hours

Answer : Wait to bathe your pet or take them swimming for 24 hours to make sure that the PetArmor is completely dry. After that, PetArmor will remain waterproof for a full 30 days of protection.

can this be used around loving indoor house cats

Answer : I have 3 indoor cats, along with my one dog. I treat my dog as she is the only animal that goes outside. I honestly can't afford to treat each animal so I focus on my dog. This product is not formulated for cats, but it's ok for cats to be around a treated dog. If your cats need to be treated, I suggest buying a cat formulated flea treatment.

Answer : After 1 hour the product is dry and stays on the dog.

Answer : It can be used on the dogs, but the box says do not apply on cats it could be fatal

What country was this product assembled and what country are the origin of components - it only stat

Answer : PetArmor® is produced by major pharmaceutical manufacturers in Europe, where many generic human pharmaceuticals and animal health products are made. The ingredients/components come from high-quality/approved sources from all over the world including Europe, Asia and the US. Moreover, you can rest assured that PetArmor not only is approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) and is required to meet the US standards for production, but also undergoes demanding quality assurance procedures at the state-of-the-art manufacturing. Regardless of where a product is produced, if it is approved in the U.S. it must meet U.S. standards.

Answer : says on the back it's made in India, and all I can tell you is this product is not as good as frontline. Waste of money.

Not effective

My dog has never had a flea in the 6 years that I have had him. He has had fleas the entire time (3) months on this product. Not recommended at all, as it does not work.

As Good As Anything Else We've Tried and Cheaper

This is as good as anything else we've tried as far as spot-on type treatments. We have four dogs and not had any adverse reactions. With the woods around us and the public park behind us we have had trouble with fleas for a long time. The only thing better so far is Comfortis. Much more expensive and needs a prescription. The dogs still scratch from time to time but when I check them there aren't any fleas. They play outside and just need another bath.

Great product for ticks

Ticks are so bad this year. My dog likes to wonder off the bike trail we ride so we are loving that this product is keeping them off our dog. Works great - we are happy.

Now that we're into our 2nd month of using the product, I can say that it's made a huge difference in our tick problem. Because I've never had this issue before, we had a pretty good infestation going, before I realized what was happening. During the first month, the teeny tiny critters that were making my dogs' itchy all over and their bellies look like they had chicken pox, vanished, and the "regular" ticks gradually decreased. Since the 2nd dose on July 1, we've seen an almost miraculous decline in the tick problem. And the price is the best I've found on the market, at this point. We're going to be using this from now on!

Great value.

I would tell anyone that wants to know. Great product for the price. Don't up the price. I'll be super happy.

So far, its a bust...

I bought this thinking the same as everyone else "Flea protection for half the price? Great!"... But sadly, it seems to not be working AT ALL... I applied it to my dog 5 days ago, and have not noticed a difference.. I even added a second treatment (yes I know, shame on me... But I thought maybe he weighs more than I thought, and just needs a little more...) But once again, I have not noticed a difference in his fleas... I almost feel like I'm just putting water on his back, its just not doing anything. My dog is super spoiled and hardly ever goes outside, so I usually only give him flea treatments maybe 1-2 a year... Advantage has always worked awesome for me, and his fleas would be terminated within 24 hours of applying. So as of now, it looks like I'll be heading to PetCo this weekend to pick up some Advantage... I'm just irritated because I HATE HATE HATE wasting money.. Even if its just $25 bucks...

I actually purchased the first dose at petco($12 each) because I had just gotten a puppy(great dane) and she was infested with fleas, poor thing. There were very few choices because she was only 8 weeks old. So I bought this all natural shampoo that was rated for puppies and dog and hoped that would help!! I got absolutely nowhere by the shampoo except for a cinnamon smelling puppy :). anyways, I then applied the Pet Armor to both my dog(XL) and puppy(SM) and within 48hrs there was absolutely no sign of fleas!!! I was actually ready to flea bomb the house but never needed to go that far so we are happy pet owners.

As good as Frontline.

Works great.

Bye,Bye Fleas and Ticks

This is a great product. It does what it says and costs half the price of other products. You can use this with confidence that your pets will be free of ticks and flsas.

Just as effective as the other..

Has the exact active ingredient as the best known competitor - kind of a no brainer.

This stuff is Great!!!

This is a great product. It does exactly what it says and at half the price of the other stuff it is a real bargain. Why waste your hard earned money on the other stuff when you can use this? It really works! My dog is flea and tick free!!!

i used this on both my dogs and it killed all their fleas within a few days. when applied correctly this works great!

doesn't work

My dog is highly allergic to fleas so I have to keep her protected or she goes nuts. I used two of these tubes in a months time (even tho its supposed to last a month) and my dog is still itching! She is a mess; I guess I will have to go back to Frontline or Advantage because this doens't seem to be helping at all.

It takes 3 MONTHS to break the flea cycle. TIPS!

No matter what product you use, you must realize this. People are posting and complaining about fleas 5 days later, then applying more product (DO NOT DO THIS!)\nUse Borox (sold at WalMart) on your carpet, in corners, all over your house and let it set overnight. Then vacuum the next day. The Borax will cause the flea skeleton to explode. Wash all bedding on hot with soap and Borax. Dry in hot dryer. Vacuum furniture where pets prefer to hang out. THROW OUT VACUUM BAG! This should help speed up and give success.\nA good bath using Dawn or any dog shampoo will kill all living fleas on the body. Leave 3min. Rinse. Do not put product on wet dog.

I'm not completely happy....

I bought this in store, and paid more for it than the visible online price I see now. So, I still thought I was getting a value vs other brands. After 3 months of using it, I am just not satisfied, my dog still has fleas and scratches constantly. Sure, I will say this may have helped against my battle with fleas, but my dog is most definitely not flea free. Also, the scent of the product is quite strong, that I wish my dog wasn't near me for a few hours. I can only imagine how the aroma affects her. Would I buy this product again in the future. No, just on the scent of the product alone. That is a turn off for me. I've used other products in the past where the medicine just didn't have such a strong odor.

Don't bother.

We bought some of this for our dog and it only made her lethargic. It did not get rid of her flea problem. Was trying to save some money and got burned. Doesn't pay to skimp on these products.\nWe and our dog are not happy.

Didn't work at all

Really think they got more fleas after I put this on. Turned the black dogs white where it was applied.

Doesn't Work As Well As The Name Brand Stuff!!

PetArmor doesn't work as well as the name brand stuff. When I used to name brand competitor, ticks that ended up biting my dog would be dead. PetArmor doesn't kill all the ticks that bite. I found engorged tick on my dog a few days after applying PetArmor. Disappointed!!

save your money

I have been pleased with the quality of Wal-mart branded products, but this has been a big disappointment. We tried this to save money, but after 3 months of using this our two dogs were covered with fleas, where we had none while we used Frontline and Advantage.\nWe have spent way more than we saved by having to bomb the house and spray the yard, and additional products to kill the fleas on the dogs, not to mention the anguish the poor fur kids have gone through with their itching and scratching. This product was a big disappointment to us.

I had to reapply 10 days early and my dog is still itching. I have one month supply left of my 3 month supply. I have no use for it. switching back to Frontline Plus.
