Does this product come with a wall mount kit ?

Answer : It has two mounting hole at the top to hang the unit on the wall. I used two screws screwed into the wall. The unit is very light and hangs nicely.

Answer : No it does not.

Answer : No mounting hardware was included. The unit is very lite so the hardware needed to mount it should be very cheap.

does it work with an iphone?

Answer : It has an input for external media. I plug my iPhone in via a double ended micro cable.

Answer : yes, it does

Great Product As Long As You Take Care Of It!

I got this stereo as a gift on Christmas back in 2007. It lasted until 2010 when one of the speakers hit the floor breaking the end of the chord that connects it to the main portion of the stereo. Never had any problems with it. The LCD display brightness can be turned down, if people actually read directions, they'd know this.\n\nI really hate when people get one bad version of a product and they automatically think every one they get is going to suck. As for the noisy mechanics issue I read about, I had that happen about a year after I got it. Just spray it with some WD40 or canned air (the kind you use to clean computer keyboards) and the noise should stop. Also it is important to keep the stereo's cd reader clean. So buy a cleaner disk for it, after all you are bound to get some dirt in it sometime. As for the MP3 port problem. The chords to the speakers extend a lot. So don't be lazy and just move the speakers to plug in your MP3. If the chord connecting the stereo to the MP3 doesn't work, go to a store and buy a new one. They're like 2 maybe 3 dollars the most.\n\nEither way. I loved this product. Didn't have many issues with it and knew how to take care of any problems that did happen. Hope you all enjoy this review.

A waste of money

I recently purchased one of these for my daughter for her birthday. Had to return it because it would not spin the CD. Straight out of the box and already torn up.

Not bad...

I bought this in August 2011. After 3 years of use, I decided to write a review. I will say that I'm an avid listener of music (the radio mostly, but CD's when there's nothing on the radio). I listen to music from the moment I wake up until right before I crawl into bed. This stereo system is nice enough and it does the job but I have found a couple of things with it that annoy me. When I turn the volume up or down, more often than not it will switch over to CD mode or Auxiliary mode. Since it sits on a high shelf I have to tilt it down to see which mode it went to in order to switch it back. I don't use the remote much, I should though. There have been a couple of times that I turned it off and it has come back on by itself. My cousin did burn me some CD's. Sometimes they do "skip" or act like they are junk but when they are played on my computer, they play fine...so they are quality burned CD's. She said she has this same stereo and has found that it does that to her too. Other than these "quirks", it seems to be worth what I paid for it which was $50 or $60 at the time. I use it in my den to drown out the sound of the TV in the living room, now I'm looking into buying a new stereo. I'm just not sure what yet. I really want a Bose.

Love the wall mount CD player

Love love love it!!!!!

Worthless product

My husband bought this so we could listen to our birth relaxation CD's prior to our second child's birth. He returned it to the store after one month because it stopped playing CDs. The second unit stopped playing CDs after 3 months, which was outside the return period for our local Walmart. I am disappointed with this product, and I do not recommend it. Don't waste your money!!!

Very disappointed

I bought this for my Wife to use at work. I should have read the reviews before buying it. Just as others about two weeks playing daily it now won't play a cd without skipping. Will return and buy something else

Quit Playing

I got this unit for Christmas. I used it for 2 months before it quit playing my CDs. I did the recommended cleaning, but it still didn't help. Unfortunately, I didn't buy the warranty. So, I put it back in the box and forgot about it, until today. I searched for the Durabrand site online, but there is not a site to contact. I'm just outta luck with it.

Junk

I recieved this in the mail today, and straight out of the box it did not work. The thing turns on, but the CD player will not read any discs, not even brand new cds! I was so angry. I returned it to a Walmart store for my money. I will spend more money on something better. Don't waste your money.

sound is ok but...

This is an ok product for the money BUT...\nthe display has an annoyingly bright blue backlight that does not turn off even when you turn off the unit. so if you plan to have this in your bedroom you better get some eye shades

Compact-great for small spaces

Small stereo with a big sound. Like the remote, don't have to be right next to it to change stations. I was surprised at the quality for the price.

Great for my daughter

Easy to use & assemble. Very fast shipping.

Wouldn't Recommend Product

I was looking forward to receiving the radio when I ordered it online, only to be very disappointed. When i first opened the box, I couldn't wait to hook up my new mini stereo system. As soon as I removed the product from the plastic, I was greatly disappointed. Not that I was expecting a very expensive piece of equipment, but noticed right away that it was cheaply made. It almost even looked as if it was used.\nBesides that disappoint, I continued to hook it up. As I was finally done, and ready to turn it on, the button to open the cd player would NOT open. I had to manually pull it open. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.\nThen, after I inserted a cd, I waited and waited... Then waited and waited.. NOTHING. I continued to press play, both on the remote and manually on the system. The cd, however, would not play. I saw the cd moving, but seemed as if it was struggling, then would soon stop running. I tried with both, burnt cds and real cds, neither worked, however. Was greatly disappointed and couldn't wait to return it!!

Perfect for my intended use

This little system is great for indoor and outdoor use. I bought this for use around my pool area, set-up is fast and easy.

Well, at least it was good looking

For the price, and the look I was happy. For practical use, it's a huge disappointment. The mechanics are noisy, the backlight is bright enough to read by in the dark, the preset stations only let you tune in one direction (so if you pass a station, you have to go all the way back around to get to it again) and for some reason the volume resets itself whenever you turn the power off. If you're listening to a CD softly and turn it off, when you turn it back on the radio will come on FULL BLAST. The input plug isn't in the most convenient place so after the trouble of plugging in the MP3, it didn't even work. Looks great, and fits well in the small space I wanted it for, but otherwise, it was a waste. I returned this a week after I bought it.

Happy to find this product!!!

I am so relieved to find another one of these. My second one in 10 years just quit, the little motor for the door is grinding. (I can not remember why I replaced the first one). This is a compact, space saving CD player. Sound is good and I use mine 8-12 hrs daily. Put it on when I go to bed and loop it all night long and half the morning. I do not use the radio, so can't comment on it. I just might buy 2, as my chances of finding another 5 years from now may not be good.

Great item for the price

Because of the price i wasn't sure what i would have gotten, but i was blown away buy volume of this little system. awesome.

Very Pleasing

I was not quite sure what to expect for the price, but I was definitely pleasantly surprised. The look is very sleek and stylish, it's not very big and doesn't take up a lot of room like the stereo I had that this replaced. The sound quality is maybe a 3 out of 5, I hoped for better. However, this is definitely a great buy.

Decent product.

I purchased two of these units for the Christmas holiday for my daughters ages 12 and 15. Both children loved their new stereos. As a parent I has second thoughts about this purchase in terms of loud music. Not a problem. While my daughter was at school I put the stereo to the test and was quite impressed. The sound quality is fairly decent. Great for an office, garage, workout room or bathroom. I'm considering purchasing a third to use in my garage and fitness room being the unit is quite lite and mobile.

Not Worth the Money

I bought this for my office at work because it took up less space than my old one. I bought it to listen to CDs. After a couple weeks it started to skip a lot. GREAT PRODUCT

I purchased this radio 6 years ago, and it's been mounted on the wall outside my home that has a covered patio. It has been thru more storms than I can count, survived all weather conditions, and still kept working great. It just now has lost the LED readout and the volume control does not work consistently. We just purchased this radio again to replace it. Unfortunately, the right speaker does not work. I will be returning it and getting another. I hope that this new radio was just a fluke and the next one will be fine. Keeping my fingers crossed!!
