Does it have a nonstick surface?

Answer : The Instruction Manual says it does, but like BHO I'd take it with a grain of salt...in other words...don't count on all of the surface to be non stick.

Answer : Yes, the pan has a nonstick surface. It is easily scratched however, so always use treated cooking utensils.

Answer : Yes, cleans up easy.

Answer : Yes. It has a non-stick surface.

Answer : Yes, it is a non-stick surface.

Answer : Yes, but I would still use a little oil. Its not the most expensive skillet.

Answer : yes

Answer : yes

How deep is this skillet?

Answer : Depth is 1 5/8ths, but for it's size needs to be about 1 inch. It's hard to get a spatula inside to turn food. I cut one down smaller to fit...that helped

Answer : It's about two inches deep which looks funny on such a small skillet. It will hold about two cups of liquid.

Answer : The skillet is about 2 - 1/2 inches deep.

Answer : Approx 2".

Answer : The skillet is about 1 and 1/2 inches deep.

What is the temperature range?

Answer : I'm not sure, but it's a 600 watt unit and gets REALLY hot, and can burn food in a hurry. The thermostat seems to work okay.

Answer : The controller has a range up to 400 degrees.

Answer : There is no degree range. The dial goes from low to high. You would have to just guess as you would do on a stove top skillet.

Answer : 140 F to 430 F.

Malfunctions, turns self off. No off or on light.

Followed direction, (plug in, dial to highest lever, then lower to desired temperture. When lowered, it goes off. Sorry that I must return this skillet, Its just the size I needed. It does not have an off and on light, but thats not that important to me since I will be the only user. For the price its a nice looking little skillet.

No go

The non stick finish started to come off on the very first use. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Very poorly made

Very cheaply made and very bad finish, will be returning it as it is made so badly.

Waste of money

I used it once and it worked just fine. But the second time, the spices I put on my turkey burger burned into the skillet. I could not get the burned matter off of the skillet even when I put it in the dishwasher. The only way to get it off was to use an SOS pad on it, which then removed the so-called non-stick surface of the pan.

Cooks for a minute and then stops. Bad design.

I had high hopes when this skillet arrived. The price was fantastic, the look was great, however, the operation and design is poor! The handle clip broke on my second use.\n\n(1) The skillet cooks only for a minute then turns itself off. Had to unplug and replus in several times to get food cooked.\n\n(2) Handle is badly designed. Clip on handle broke on my second use. Made skillet useless as handle is what bring electricity to skillet.

Don't Waste Your Money

I have been using a much larger electric skillet for some time now with great success. Due to the larger size-I have to use much more EVVO than I want to-so switching to a smaller skillet for our breakfast fried eggs seemed like a great choice. This thing must be defective since I based my purchase on the great reviews. It ruined our eggs-it has a cold spot in one area-so they did not all cook evenly and despite the fact that I put a small amount of olive oil in the pan to be sure it would not stick-the eggs stuck like glue. This did not make for a pleasant breakfast. I attempted to use the skillet a 2nd time making sure that I coated the entire bottom of the pan with oil and only cooked two eggs rather than 4 and still had the same poor results. This is going back to the store today-guess you really do get what you pay for. Very disappointed!

little problem.

One side of the plate is hotter than the other side. Not a uniformed heat.

Perfect for one.

I live alone and this is the perfect size for me to cook eggs in the morning and a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. Reasonably well made and easy to clean.

Better than expected!

I was pleased the first time I used this little skillet! We are full-time RV'ers and need to save space. We use electric appliances often and my large skillet is fine when cooking for both of us at dinner time, but when I need to cook a couple of eggs or a simple small dish this little guy is perfect. I had no trouble getting used to the heating element (there are no guides/degrees-just lines). Attaching the handle the first time was a little changeling - until I looked at the directions, duh!\n\nAll in all - If you need a small electric skillet, this is a good choice.

Great electric skillet for a small household.

The skillet is perfect for the household of one or two people. It is easy to clean, and does not take up much space on the counter or in the cabinet. The fold away handle does not seem very durable.

It's small but does the job

It's small but does the job and it makes up everything for one in minutes, space saving and easy to clean.

Temperature control is not calibrated

Guessing when the frypan on my electric stove is the right temp to fry eggs is a losing game, so I've been using an old 12 inch electric job set to 300 deg. Perfect eggs every time, but it is BIG. I thought this little baby would be a natural for a single guy, but the temp control is again, a guessing game. Never plugged it in. Yes, I could experiment until I found the right setting, but I don't want to. I'll keep looking.

Great little electric skillet.

This is a great little electric skillet! It is the perfect size for cooking burgers, eggs and home fries.\nCleanup is quick and easy. The only con is the the control dial is not marked well and is difficult to see the settings.

Perfect Size for one

Exact what I expected.

it's okay

I needed something small size wise it's great but the nonstick surface is not as good as some of my other skillets. and it looks kind of fragile. I hope to get a few years service from it.

Just Right

Worked well for what I need. Light weight. Easy to use and clean.

this is an excellent item for those living on their own since they can cook without the need of a large appliance...perfect for single meals...bought two in case I need to replace down the road....

Small but enough for its purpose.

I bought the skillet for my husband to carry inside his 18-wheeler truck. It was small, but good enough to fry a steak, eggs. Good for one person to cook a dinner. The quality is good, and absolutely met my expectations.

Great electric skillet for what I wanted it for

I bought this small electric fryer to cook fish, and have used it twice. It does exactly what I wanted it for. Requires only a small storage space, and cleaning it is a snap. Does not require a lot of oil like the larger fryers. I really love it.

its great for my husband and myself. its great for 1person to make a steak and a veggie.
