Does this accept Weber accessories?

I am wondering if the dimensions of this kettle grill are similar/same as the Weber 22.5" kettle. That way I can use all the accessories, specifically the better grill grates, with this model. Has anyone tried using Weber or other accessories with this? Thanks

Answer : yes

Answer : Yes all of the accesories that I bought for use with my new "22.5 Backyard Grill are Weber and All of them work perfectly well with the non-Weber unit. I was particularly pleased that the Cover fit perfectly even though the number of legs is different.

Answer : I can't answer your question, but the grates that come with this grill are very sturdy.

This grill the perfect size

The grill is the perfect size for somone who would like a smaller charcoal grill. It is very light weight and grills great! I really like the pan attached underneath to catch the ashes for easy disposal. It was kind of difficult to put some parts together. You need 2 people and I would have it assembled if I purchased another one.

Grilling 2014

Like the Kettle concept of the Grill. The upper rack can keep my food warm or continue the cooking process.

Very poorly packaged

Out of the 8 grills I purchased for my resort 7 were damaged. They were either dented or had paint missing or chipping off. I knew they would be cheap grills when I purchased them and I only expected them to last a couple of seasons. I was really disappointed these were damaged right out of the box with no damage to the boxes they arrived in. I had a group of fisherman coming in and I did not have time to take back to a Walmart for replacement. The closest Walmart is over an hour away and that is why I had them shipped in the first place. I just straightened out the dents the best I could and touched up the paint. The way they are packaged is going to cause damage. Very thin sheets of cardboard separating the metal pieces. When it's time to replace out grills again we will find a different supplier. On the positive side they were easy to put together. Took about 20 minutes after putting the first one together.

Great Value

Looked for a couple weeks for the best value in the market and this seemed to be the best buy available. Well, I was and am very pleased. It was very straight forward to assemble and it is, indeed, very functional. It is large enough to prepare a meal for several people and it functions well as a smoker....the removable canister underneath is great to clean out the ash and yet it acts as an effective air vent while cooking to manage the heat. Looks and functions great....have cooked a wide range of meats [chicken, beef and pork] and they have all turned out great.

Great Grill with a Great Price

I purchased this grill for our annual 4th of July camping trip on the lake. I needed somthing not too big, not too small, sturdy enough for a camping trip and should last a few years. When I saw this grill and the metal gauge is was constructed with, I thought I would give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality the grill at this price. I smoked 4 racks of ribs and during the last few minutes of smoking I grilled four hamburgers and one hotdog on the grill at the same time. It was easy to controll the cooking tempurature and clean up was a snap with the ash pit. It meet all of my needs.

Good size

Lots of parts to assemble, but the packaging made it easier. Make sure you put the wheels opposite the handle on the lid (we did not, so it's awkward to move around) Hinged lid is a nice feature. Good sized ash container.

Sturdy Great Convenient Charcoal Grill

Easy for 1 person to put together, sturdy, nice features with bottom rack, inside rack for buns, etc. and much better than any other charcoal grills we've had

love it!

Great little grill @ an awesome price. It was easy to put together & seems sturdy enough. I think it will last several years!

Better than expected

After reading some of the reviews and checking the pre-built one at the store, I thought i would be getting a damaged and flimsy BBQ. Turns out the one at the store was poorly assembled. I made sure the box had no damage before I bought it and got a BBQ with no dents or missing paint. Took longer to put together than the 30 minutes the instructions state but I'm a perfectionist and tweaked some of the instructions to make sure every bolt was tight and the BBQ didn't wobble. The BBQ works great. Gets plenty hot. Grilled some brats on it last night and tonight we're trying steak. This is going to be a great summer full of grilling.

Cheap in more ways than one!

I got this because I wanted a bigger charcoal grill, but could not afford the Weber at the time. I liked that it has the ash catcher with it. When i unboxed the grill, I noticed that some paint was missing on the inside of the lid. After screwing on the top vent, some more paint popped of the inside of the grill. I knew that it was going to be a little cheap for how much it was, but i'm keeping it in the garage, so it dont rust. It serves its purpose. Not a bad buy, but there is definitely much better grills out there

Not 22" But 22 1/2" Just bought it for $30.00 :)

It is advertised for $42.00 but @ my Walmart here in Blytheville, Ark. they have them for $30.00 :)\nI had the same one for 2 years that I paid the $42.00 for but I made a big mistake at not covering it up with a grill cover or tarp to keep from rusting, so I lost it to rust:( Now I bought the same one again, but only for a cheaper price, $30.00 today, & also bought a grill cover for $24.99 at Lowes, that fits perfectly over this grill. So now I dont have to worry about the rain or snow, or sun, it should last many years. As far as putting it together? It comes with everything you will need, wrench, phillips screwdriver, pictures, words everything. The only thing I suggest it DON'T drink any alcohol while putting it together, that will just slow you down & make it worse;) Otherwise, you should have it completed in 20 min. It is well worth it, even if it was not for $30.00 today instead of the advertised $42.00 I still would've bought it:) Just remember to buy a grill cover for it when not in use. Have fun barbecuing;)

Great grill for the price

We are pleased w/ the grill. It was easy to assemble. We have used it multiple times since the purchase. Well constructed. I liked the size. Plenty of grilling space.

Excellent Value

As good as our Weber! Great value for so little money!

Overall a great value

I rated it 4 stars only because we thought the legs could be easily removed to store in our trailer. Not so....so we decided to us it at home. Very sturdy and has a warming rack the Weber Grill I looked at didn't have. Heavier then the Weber too.\nNice family charcoal grill!\nWe did find a compact grill for our trailer need too!

I bought this grill 4 years ago and it held up very well. I never covered it up, just cleaned the inside grill rack. Lost a piece or two over time, It's leaning now, but I would definitely buy it again. It was pretty sturdy.

Great BBQ Grill!

Never bought a BBQ Grill that I had to assemble then figure out how to use it. It turned out to be a good experience. The item arrived as promised. It was packed very nicely and no mars, nicks or dents. All parts were accounted for and even the smallest items were easily identified in packets with letters that coordinate with the Owners Manual and the very clear steps identified in those instructions. Everything went together without any problems. So far I have BBQ'd steaks and then chicken - all turning out just as we like them. We're very pleased with this BBQ.

Kettle Grill with Great Features for the Money!

This kettle grill has many great features for the money. It has a grease catcher, a thermometer, warming rack, and a storage shelf on the bottom for other supplies. It is easy to assemble (takes a little longer than the suggested 30 minutes) with all parts needed including a screw driver and wrench.
